Message from Ron Shortt

Hello my name is Ron Shortt, I am a Metis man with roots in North Central Ontario and on the Prairies. I have been living in British Columbia for the past 21 years and have come to know the community and am now a part of the community. I have been active in Metis and Aboriginal organizations both as a volunteer and employee for the past 30 years. My experience lies in work with the Military, Provincial and Federal government agencies. Presently I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in B.C. My contribution to Metis Family Services is based on those 30 years of experience and in my professional commitment to the empowerment of people.
